Linoma Mashers

Hometown

Surfin' SKA-lypso, rhythms at the feet, lyrics at the brain and funny bone

Writing and performing the Midwest’s best all-original SurfSkaPop since 1985, the Linoma Mashers came out of the same roots as the area’s first ska band, the Hutsuts, back in 1981.

Forty years and more than a hundred original songs later, they’re still at it: “Okoboji,” “Lake McConaughy,” “28th Street Girls,” and a catalog that’s played as many porch concerts and neighborhood shows around Omaha as it has proper venues.
